NIWR Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the National Institutes for Water Resources provides leadership and guidance for all 54 Water Resources Research Institutes across the United States. Working closely with the Executive Committee, USGS, and Van Scoyoc Associates, the Board ensures that NIWR remains a strong, collaborative network advancing water research, education, and outreach.

Board members represent institutes from every region of the country, bringing diverse expertise and perspectives to NIWR’s mission. Together, they oversee organizational priorities, support national initiatives, and foster connections among universities and Federal agencies.
